2026 SUMMER CAMPS

at Greenbriar Riding Academy

Our Summer Day Camps offer a truly hands-on, confidence-building experience with horses. Campers don’t just ride — they learn how to care for, understand, and partner with their horse in a safe, supportive environment.

Each day is designed to build both horsemanship and riding skills, with instruction tailored to your child’s experience level. Campers progress through four core learning areas: Riding Skills, Horse Handling, Equipment Knowledge, and Horse Health & Care.

Each camp builds upon the last, giving students the opportunity to continue growing as they progress — while still enjoying the same fun, supportive, and enriching camp experience at every level.

A WEEK AT CAMP

THE SCHEDULE

Each camp is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday with a break on Wednesday. Camp days start at 8am and finish at 12pm.

Lunch is not scheduled, but we do plan in time for snacks and take lots of water breaks throughout the day.

BARN TIME

Each day includes dedicated time in the barn, where campers learn about horses, equipment, and proper care. As students progress through the camp levels, their horsemanship knowledge continues to grow alongside their riding skills.

We place a strong emphasis on unmounted education, valuing time spent learning on the ground just as much, and often more, than time in the saddle.

IN THE SADDLE

Campers ride every day of camp! With our indoor arenas, weather is never a concern — rain or heat won’t interrupt time in the saddle.

Throughout the week, students build skills consistently and gain confidence, finishing camp ready to ride with pride and apply what they’ve learned.

READY FOR CAMP

SNACK & WATER BOTTLE

Please send your camper with a snack and a refillable water bottle. We are unable to refrigerate snacks, so be sure to send them with an ice pack in their bag!

ADDITIONAL ACCOMMODATIONS

We are happy to provide accommodations to help ensure every child has a positive and fulfilling camp experience. Please let us know about any specific needs ahead of time so we can prepare and best support your camper.

WHAT TO WEAR

Please dress your camper in long pants and a tee shirt appropriate for the weather. Greenbriar does provide boots and helmets to all campers! If you have your own, feel free to use them! Low, pulled back hairstyles work best for under helmets. Optional items include a cap and sunscreen for extra sun protection while outdoors.

CAMP T-SHIRTS

We offer a brand-new camp t-shirt design each year, with our 2026 design currently in the works! Campers can secure a shirt at the time of booking. Each t-shirt is printed in a color that matches the camper’s level — for example, Bronco shirts are green and Mustang shirts are orange. Camp t-shirts are $15 each and make a fun keepsake from the week.
