SADDLE UP SATURDAY AT GREENBRIAR
Join us for a fun and welcoming Mini Lesson Experience at the barn. Each 30-minute session includes a dedicated instructor to guide riders through a hands-on introduction to horses. Open to ages 4 and up, this is a perfect opportunity for kids, adults, or families to enjoy time in the saddle together. Lessons are just $50, with time slots available from 1:00 to 3:30 pm. Whether you are brand new or simply missing horse time, this is an easy way to scratch that horse itch.

Spend your time grooming - no riding required. For kids that might be nervous around horses or adults not ready to climb into the saddle, you can enjoy the entire session learning how to groom your horse. If you're up for leading instead of riding, you can enjoy a short leading lesson instead. We value comfort and confidence for all riders, whether that's on the ground or in the saddle. After booking, feel free to send us a message about your preference and we will match you with the best suited horse and instructor for your session.

1. Where is this located?
This event will be held inside our barn on Greenbriar property. Our address is 8 1st Ave Springville, Iowa 52336. You can enter the property from 1st Ave or Broadway.
2. Is this event weather dependent?
Nope! It will be held in our barn, rain, snow, or shine! If it is a chilly day, a few layers you can remove if needed are perfect!
3. Do I have to pay if my child is riding?
Nope! Each attendee that participates in the lesson must pay the $50. If you'd like to stay near your child or stay to watch, you can do so for free. We have a heated viewing room and plenty of seating. BUT this is the perfect event for parents to experience the lesson with their child!
4. How many slots are available for each time?
Each time slot will hold 4 riders. If you want to ensure your entire group or family takes the lesson together, be sure to sign up soon and feel free to reach out to confirm slots remaining for each time.
5. Do I need prior riding experience?
Nope! We provide everything you need - no experience required! This is perfect for first time riders and those wanting to experience some horse time! We provide boots and helmets you can borrow for your lesson.
6. What should I wear?
Please wear long pants, socks, and a low hairstyle that will fit under a helmet. Boots must have a small heel - otherwise you can borrow a pair we have available! Helmets are also provided. Depending on weather, feel free to wear a few layers you can remove as needed.
