Oh Buzz, you had such a personality—just the perfect amount of naughty. From the very beginning, you had a way of teaching that no book ever could. You taught your riders, and all of us, so much more than how to ride.

You made people believe in themselves before you would truly listen, quietly building confidence and self-esteem along the way. When your riders struggled with their canter leads, you taught them to keep trying, to stay patient, and to never give up. You showed them discipline, self-control, and persistence—lessons that will stay with them long after they leave the saddle.

You were always fair and honest. When a rider didn’t know much, you never asked too much. And when a rider was ready for more, you were willing to give it—only if they asked correctly. You made sure every success was earned, and that made it mean so much more.

Anyone who truly knew your heart knew what a special pony you were. You were one of the good ones—steady, kind, and unforgettable.
